No worries I’m not gonna post all the approx 1000 photos, I decided to combine the places else I’d end up with 8 parts *phew* no that’s not gonna work. I think one thing I struggle with to select and I also seem to have a different taste than others or maybe the majority.
I also noticed I may be to harsh in my post-processing, I have to train to go more natural look though I like contrasty photos.
Here we go Sintra, one of our favorite stops, Batalha and Porto.
Traditional pastry Cafe, famous, inconspicuous outside…
but yummy inside
View from National Palace Pena
Cabo da Roca on the left, most southern point Europe’s
Batalha Monastery, Nuno Alvares Pereira Statue (was just a short break in Batalha)
I have a thing for doors especially old doors, entrance to the monastery
No pano but also no correction applied to the distortion, I think it still works or what do you think ?
courtyard of the monastery
I thought this was “funny” and somehow didn’t really fit to the rest of the medieval details, I also couldn’t find any further information, should you know let me know too
View from Dom Luís I bridge
View to the other side of the above bridge
Cathedral of Porto
Early foggy morning, somewhere on the right hidden would be the cathedral
Library Lello & Irmão, beautiful, cries for getting cozy with a tea and a book
considered as one of top 3 beautiful libraries in the world
Supposedly inspired Rowling (who lived in Porto btw) for the Harry Potter library
This was closed so couldn’t figure the link of those 2 gentlemen and Tapas but I know there is an e missing
A small alley, whenever I drove there with the rental car I had a bit of sweat attacks
Just liked that bike
